As Payer Partnerships Lead, you will own the strategy and execution of Nourish's partnerships with leading health plans. You will manage a revenue-generating book of 5-10 top health plan relationships, serving as the single point owner and defining the strategy and partnership playbook for each. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage a revenue-generating book of top health plans, owning strategy and execution to expand access, increase rates, and build long-lasting relationships
• Design and drive health plan strategy end-to-end, shaping engagement approaches and structuring game-changing deals
• Build trusted executive networks with payer leaders, creating internal champions who advocate for Nourish across complex organizations
• Design and close transformative deals, including value-based care models that expand access and align with long-term growth vision
• Deliver Nourish's value proposition compellingly to VP and C-suite audiences, tailoring conversations to each payer's unique priorities
• Bring the 'voice of the payer' to internal teams, translating commercial insights to inform product, clinical, and growth strategy
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Nourish's Flatiron office in NYC, with expectation to work on-site 3-4 days per week and some remote flexibility. Occasional travel is expected for conferences and priority payer meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3-5 years of experience in highly strategic roles (e.g., management consulting, business operations); commercial/go-to-market or healthcare/payer experience is a plus but not required
• Energized by 0→1 work and ambiguity; comfortable building structure and clarity in undefined spaces
• Strategic thinker who values speed and learning; comfortable testing ideas, iterating on signal, and evolving approach
• Strong commercial mindset and executive presence; ability to craft compelling narratives and influence VP- and C-suite stakeholders
• Experience building strong client relationships in consulting, strategy, partnerships, GTM, or high-growth startup environments; comfortable representing a company externally
• Operationally excellent; able to manage high volume of moving pieces and competing priorities with strong attention to detail while maintaining momentum
• Highly collaborative and cross-functional; able to work effectively across partnerships, growth, product, clinical, and operations teams
