The Payer Partnerships Lead role is a management position responsible for building and scaling relationships with health plans, insurance companies, and other payers. This leader will develop partnership strategy, negotiate contracts, manage ongoing relationships with key payer stakeholders, and drive adoption of Nourish's platform within payer networks. The role requires deep understanding of payer economics, healthcare reimbursement models, and the ability to articulate clinical and financial value propositions to C-suite payer executives.
Key responsibilities include: identifying and qualifying new payer partnership opportunities; leading contract negotiations and commercial terms; managing a team focused on payer relationship management and account success; collaborating cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful implementations; tracking KPIs around payer adoption, member engagement, and financial performance; and representing Nourish at industry conferences and payer forums.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of healthcare business development or payer partnership experience, ideally from a health plan, healthcare provider, or health tech company. Strong negotiation skills, understanding of payer incentives and constraints, and a track record of closing significant partnerships are essential. This is a high-impact role at a critical growth stage for the company.
