SmithRx is a venture-backed healthtech company disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector with a next-generation drug acquisition platform. As a Patient Access Programs Operations Specialist, you will serve as the operational backbone of SmithRx's Drug Pathway Programs. This role bridges strategy and day-to-day execution, requiring tactical excellence and meticulous attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: - Managing daily Drug Pathway updates and operational tasks within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - Performing data entry and system configuration across adjudication, Admin, and CRM platforms, with regular audits to ensure accuracy - Serving as the first point of contact for internal trouble tickets and operational bottlenecks, resolving data discrepancies by collaborating with Data, Business Systems, Engineering, and Customer Success teams - Drafting and maintaining step-by-step operational manuals for Drug Pathway management to ensure consistency and minimize errors - Supporting new pharmacy program rollouts by preparing data files, testing configurations in sandbox environments, and confirming successful go-lives - Contributing to ad hoc projects and business initiatives as assigned You bring 2+ years of experience in high-volume operational roles such as Pharmacy Technician, Claims Processing, Benefits Administration, or PBM Operations. You demonstrate zero-defect accuracy on repetitive, high-stakes tasks. You are highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and comfortable with G-Suite/MS Office, Slack, and Zoom. Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, or Jira is preferred. SQL experience is a plus. A high school diploma is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Data Analytics is preferred.
