Allica Bank is the UK's fastest-growing fintech firm, focused on serving established SMEs—a major underserved segment representing over a third of the UK economy. The Partnerships Manager role is critical to generating new business through strategic partnerships with third-party advisors, particularly accounting firms.
You will develop and nurture relationships with accounting firms across the North West region, taking a consultative B2B sales approach. You'll own the end-to-end client experience for Business Rewards Account clients, from generating introductions through onboarding, funding, and account usage. You'll coordinate with specialist Relationship Manager teams on additional lending needs and work closely with the Marketing team to run regional events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a regional portfolio of accounting firms, moving each through the pipeline from cold outreach to warm induction to active introducer status
• Build trust and credibility through consultative positioning, establishing Allica as the most recommended bank by accountants
• Grow Allica's presence across firms through regular regional travel and in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
• Introduce Business Rewards Account and other banking products, owning the full onboarding and funding journey
• Qualify and introduce clients with lending needs (e.g., commercial mortgages) to appropriate Relationship Managers
• Serve as the dedicated point of contact for accounting firm partners
• Deliver and continuously improve the Accountants Playbook to ensure positive onboarding and repeat introductions
• Run regional activities including lunch-and-learns, roundtables, and other events
• Equip firms with effective Partnerships Packs, marketing materials, and joint initiatives
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track portfolio progress, and report on pipeline metrics
• Collaborate across teams (RMs, Marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless experiences for partners and customers
• Comply with all mandatory policies and operational procedures
Requirements:
• Proven track record in B2B sales and account management
• Strong understanding of SMEs and the role of professional advisors, particularly accountants
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a track record of earning trust from partners, customers, and colleagues
• Strong communication and presentation skills for in-person and virtual meetings and events
• Confident managing a CRM-based portfolio and reporting on pipeline progress
• Commercially minded, balancing new revenue generation with appropriate risk and reputation considerations
• Comfortable working collaboratively with specialist colleagues to deliver good outcomes
