Salary: GBP 86,000 - 115,000 / annual

Monzo is seeking a Partnerships Manager to drive strategic partnerships that enhance its Core banking features and strengthen its market position in the UK and beyond. The role sits within the Core team, which builds the products and features millions of customers rely on daily, including personal and business bank accounts, joint accounts, credit cards, savings, investments, and pensions. You will be responsible for developing and executing a partnership strategy that supports the growth of Monzo's core banking products while aligning with customer needs and business goals. Key responsibilities include identifying and securing strategic partnerships with trusted, well-known brands that create meaningful value for paying customers; leading commercial negotiations and contract discussions with new and existing partners; and scaling and optimizing existing partnerships through data-driven insights and performance tracking. You will analyze customer behavior and commercial performance to identify high-impact partnership opportunities, build strong cross-functional relationships with Product, Marketing, Data Science, Design, and Operations teams, and manage partnerships from initial concept through implementation, optimization, and long-term success. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in partnerships, business development, or growth, ideally within banking, fintech, or technology. You should have experience building and scaling both B2B and B2C partnerships that deliver measurable commercial and customer impact. Strong analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and cross-functional collaboration experience are essential.
