Baselayer is rebuilding the identity and trust infrastructure layer for American business banking. The company has built the most complete business graph in America by fusing public records, IRS data, sanctions lists, web signals, and fraud telemetry from 2,200+ financial institutions, achieving 98% match rates in under two years—far exceeding legacy credit bureaus. Trusted by over 20% of US financial institutions including FIS, Rho, and Socure, Baselayer is now extending into the agentic economy, where AI agents transact at scale and require real-time trust verification. The Agentic Economy team is a startup-within-startup led by a General Manager, building verifiable credentials, registries, and verification APIs for agent commerce across payment networks, banks, wallet providers, and platforms. The category is being defined now; infrastructure decisions made in the next 18 months will shape the decade ahead. As Partnerships Manager, you will drive outbound engagement and manage relationships across target segments: payment networks, financial institutions, agent builders, wallet providers, and platforms deploying agents. You own strategic partnerships end-to-end—from sourcing and structuring through activation, enablement, and long-term scaling. You will run partner threads with precision (agendas, briefs, follow-ups, NDAs, materials, alignment), represent the GM in high-stakes meetings with major financial institutions, and embed yourself in partner workflows through joint GTM calls, regular touchpoints, and co-hosted events. You will maintain rigorous pipeline tracking in HubSpot, build repeatable partner playbooks and enablement assets (concept briefs, one-pagers, collateral, co-marketing campaigns), drive internal cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product, Solutions, and Marketing, and gather partner feedback to inform product and process improvements. This is a high-trust, execution-oriented role requiring immaculate follow-through and the ability to turn strong relationships into repeatable growth channels. Minimum 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or related roles at fintech, payments, identity, or financial services companies.
