Brex is seeking a Partnerships Manager to drive growth within the Accounting Channel. This role focuses on building and scaling relationships with accounting firms and OCFO (Office of the CFO) partners to generate client referrals and expand Brex's market presence.
You will identify and cultivate high-potential accounting firms, develop tailored go-to-market strategies for each partner, and facilitate smooth onboarding of new partners and their teams. Key responsibilities include driving client referrals to fuel revenue growth, serving as a product expert to articulate Brex's value proposition, and acting as the connective tissue between partners and the broader Brex ecosystem.
You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering teams to create co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform product roadmap decisions. Regular performance reviews with key partners, stakeholder relationship building within accounting firms, and becoming an expert in Brex's product features and workflows are core to the role.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in closing sales or partnerships roles with a demonstrated track record of hitting targets and quotas. You should excel at identifying client needs through thoughtful questioning and active listening, delivering consultative solutions aligned with partner goals, and evaluating partnership performance with data-driven optimization. Strong communication skills, ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments, and proven ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders are essential.
Bonus qualifications include experience collaborating with accounting firms and accounting background (CPA certification or relevant industry experience). The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
