Brex is seeking a Partnerships Manager to drive growth within its Accounting Channel. This role focuses on building and scaling relationships with accounting firms and outsourced CFO (OCFO) providers, positioning them as key distribution partners for Brex's intelligent finance platform.
You will identify and cultivate high-potential accounting firms, develop tailored go-to-market strategies for each partner, and facilitate seamless onboarding of new partners and their teams. A core responsibility is driving client referrals from accounting partners to fuel Brex's revenue growth. You'll serve as a product expert, articulating Brex's value proposition and acting as the connective tissue between partners and the broader Brex ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include conducting regular performance reviews with key partners, identifying and building relationships with multiple stakeholders within accounting firms, and becoming an expert in Brex's product, features, and workflows. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering teams to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform the product roadmap.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a closing sales or partnerships role with a demonstrated track record of consistently hitting targets and quotas. You should excel at identifying client needs through thoughtful questioning and active listening, delivering consultative solutions aligned with partner goals, and evaluating partnership performance with data-driven optimization. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and proven ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders are essential. Experience collaborating with accounting firms or an accounting background (CPA certification or relevant industry experience) is a plus.
The role is based in Brex's New York office with a hybrid arrangement requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available as a perk.
