Sportradar's Rights & Partnership Protection (RPP) team is seeking a Partnership Protection Specialist to serve as a key liaison between Sportradar and major sports rights holders across Europe and Asia. This newly formed team focuses on protecting, enhancing, and ensuring the operational effectiveness of Sportradar's sports partnerships through field operations, intelligence gathering, stakeholder engagement, and investigative activity.
In this role, you will act as the regional subject matter expert, attending sporting events throughout Europe and Asia, monitoring market activity impacting rights holders, and providing actionable intelligence that strengthens partnership value and integrity. You will work closely with rights holders, security teams, internal stakeholders, and international counterparts to identify emerging threats, malicious actors, and global trends affecting the sports data and betting landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as operational liaison between Sportradar and allocated European and Asian sports rights holders
- Attending sporting events to support rights-holder operations and safeguard rights, access, and exclusivity arrangements
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with leagues, federations, security teams, venue operators, and key stakeholders
- Conducting intelligence-led research into market activity to understand actors impacting rights-holder interests
- Identifying emerging risks, trends, and operational vulnerabilities affecting partnerships
- Conducting investigative research using open-source, commercial, and industry-specific data sources
- Leading and supporting digital evidence collection relating to sportsbook activity, betting markets, and prediction platforms
- Developing intelligence holdings relating to individuals, groups, and networks operating within the sports betting and data collection ecosystem
- Collaborating with RPP colleagues across North America to identify global trends and organized networks operating across multiple jurisdictions
- Analyzing information from rights holders and transforming operational reporting into actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations
- Producing regular intelligence products, stakeholder briefings, and operational assessments
- Delivering season-long reporting for partner organizations, including pre-season risk assessments, in-season updates, and post-season reviews
- Supporting rights holders in developing operational best practices to enhance data collection hygiene and partnership performance
- Planning and delivering educational workshops and awareness sessions for leagues, federations, venue operators, and security personnel
- Contributing to the development of global RPP methodologies, processes, and operational standards

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years' experience in investigations, intelligence, sports integrity, law enforcement, security, due diligence, or a related analytical field
- Demonstrable investigative mindset with experience conducting intelligence-led enquiries and research
- Strong understanding of the European sports landscape, particularly: Football (UEFA competitions and national leagues), Bundesliga/DFL ecosystem, Tennis (ATP Tour), EuroLeague Basketball
- Good working knowledge of major Asian sporting competitions and rights-holder environments, particularly those associated with AFC competitions and leading regional leagues
- Experience analyzing information from multiple sources and producing concise, actionable reports and assessments
- Understanding of sportsbook operations, sports betting ecosystems, and modern wagering mechanics—including live/in-play micro-betting, prediction platforms, exchanges, and latency arbitrage risks
- Ability to identify emerging trends, behavioral patterns, and networked activity across complex environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting information to senior stakeholders and external partners
- Experience delivering training, workshops, or educational presentations
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Europe and periodically throughout Asia
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Experience working directly with professional sports leagues, federations, or rights holders
- Experience attending and managing operational activities at live sporting events
- Experience conducting OSINT, CYBINT/DNINT, or digital investigations
- Existing professional network within European or Asian sports, betting, or security sectors
- Understanding of sports data rights, betting rights, and commercial partnership structures
- Experience supporting or managing strategic partnerships within the sports industry
- Awareness of data collection operations during live sports events
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Excel (Advanced) to visualize market trends and convert raw data into visual reports
- Experience utilizing stadium CCTV systems, Video Management Systems (VMS), and control room environments to observe, identify, and document suspicious activity during live events
- Additional language capabilities, particularly German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Mandarin, or Japanese
