Juniper Square is a leading operations platform for private markets, serving 2,300+ GPs with $300B+ under administration. The company unifies technology, data, and fund administration services, and recently launched JunieAI, a purpose-built AI platform for private markets workflows.
You will be a senior individual contributor anchoring Juniper Square's East Coast presence and owning high-value partner relationships in the New York market. This role focuses on depth over breadth—activating and developing relationships with audit, tax, legal, and placement agency partners who advise the GPs the company serves.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and develop a portfolio of strategic partner relationships across audit, tax, legal, banking, and placement agency firms in New York, with focus on senior-level stakeholders
- Drive qualified referral pipeline from partners to the sales team, with accountability for both volume and quality of introductions
- Build and execute account plans for key partners, including quarterly business reviews, joint go-to-market initiatives, and co-marketing opportunities
- Represent Juniper Square at industry events, conferences, and professional networks relevant to private equity, venture, and real estate fund managers
- Work closely with sales to support partner-sourced deals from introduction through close
- Provide market intelligence on partner needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in alternative investment
- Contribute to frameworks, playbooks, and processes that scale the partnerships function
You will report to the Senior Director of Partnerships. This is not a generalist BD role—you need to walk into a room with a Big 4 partner or fund formation partner and immediately establish credibility. You know the industry, you know these people, and you understand what it takes to build trust at the senior level.
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years in institutional sales, relationship management, or partnerships within alternative investment (private equity, venture capital, or real estate)
- Existing network within the private funds service provider ecosystem in New York (audit/tax practices, fund formation, banks, placement agencies)
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at senior partner or managing director level
- Track record of generating qualified business outcomes from relationship-driven activity
- Strong presence and communication skills for external representation to sophisticated audiences
- Based in New York City with ability to maintain regular in-market presence
- Self-directed and comfortable operating in a growing function
Nice-to-have: prior experience at a fund administration firm, fund technology company, or SaaS platform serving financial services; familiarity with Juniper Square's product or competitive landscape; experience building or scaling partnerships or channel functions.
