DualEntry is an AI-native ERP platform automating accounting workflows from data entry to close. The company has raised $100M+ from top-tier investors (Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, Contrary, Google Ventures) and serves customers ranging from $5M ARR to public companies. You will build DualEntry's investor channel, focusing on private equity firms and venture capital funds whose portfolios contain thousands of ideal customer profile (ICP) targets. The role owns two distinct but complementary motions: **Private Equity Motion:** Partner at the fund level with PE shops to get DualEntry on the roadmap for Value Creation and Operating Partner teams. Position the platform as the recommended ERP during platform acquisitions and post-close standardization. A single PE partnership can unlock multiple portfolio company deals. **Venture Capital Motion:** Operate at the portfolio level, unlocking warm introductions to Series A–C portfolio companies and building fund-wide programs that make DualEntry the default recommendation across the fund's ecosystem. Key responsibilities include sourcing and closing fund-level partnerships, building the economic case for PE standardization across portfolios, managing the fund-to-portfolio company motion, owning presence at major investor events (SuperReturn, ACG, NVCA, PEWIN, VC summits, LP meetings), collaborating with Sales to convert sourced introductions into closed deals, creating collateral for fund LPs/GPs/Operating Partners, and managing partner agreements from concept to signature. You'll report into Caelahn Bullen, Strategic Partnerships Lead, who has already built the partnerships function from zero, inherited 323 partner conversations, defined a 4-channel taxonomy, and stood up attribution and program infrastructure in the first 8 weeks. Success requires 3–6 years in capital markets, PE/VC, portfolio operations, or B2B partnerships involving fund or portfolio work. You should understand how PE value-creation teams and VC platform teams operate, be able to build fund-level economic cases (not just product pitches), operate comfortably at the GP/Operating Partner level, and translate that into portfolio company activation. Strong commercial judgment on multi-portfolio deal structures and a data-driven, experimental mindset are essential. Nice-to-have qualifications include an existing network across PE Operating Partners, VC Platform teams, or the investor community; prior experience selling into or partnering with PE portfolios or VC-backed cohorts; fintech, ERP, or office-of-the-CFO ecosystem experience; and early-stage company (Seed to Series B) background. You'll join a high-speed, high-trust environment with high expectations. Significant equity ownership, early-stage growth opportunity, direct product feedback influence, and a collaborative, in-office culture with no bureaucracy are hallmarks of the role.
