As a Partner Integrations Engineer, you'll work directly with startups, founders, and strategic partners to help them build on the Airwallex platform. This role blends hands-on integration engineering with demo engineering—you'll independently build polished reference implementations while also partnering directly with external teams to co-create integrations and applications that help them ship and gain internal buy-in.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering working integrations and demos on tight timelines; building reference implementations independently and collaboratively; serving as a technical lead for external builder engagements; identifying patterns across partner integrations to create playbooks and reusable approaches; capturing and synthesizing feedback to influence product priorities; and contributing to team operations by defining processes and supporting others.
You'll need 5+ years in a technical, partner-facing, or customer-facing engineering role (Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Developer Relations, or similar). Strong hands-on ability to build functional integrations and high-quality demos is essential. You should excel at delivering complex technical work quickly while maintaining quality, identifying patterns to turn one-off work into scalable approaches, operating with ambiguity, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication and credible technical insight. Experience with startups or external ecosystems is strongly preferred.
Preferred qualifications include background in payments, fintech infrastructure, or developer platforms; experience with AI agents, programmable workflows, or emerging use cases; and a track record of building demos or reference implementations adopted more broadly.
