Apollo.io is a leading go-to-market platform trusted by over 500,000 companies globally, providing sales and marketing teams with verified B2B contact data and engagement tools. The company is valued at $1.6 billion and backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures.
You'll own the long-tail partner funnel for Apollo's agency ecosystem—thousands of partners ranging from solopreneurs to large agencies. This is a growth marketing role applied to partners rather than end customers. You'll treat the agency population as a segmented, measured funnel and build one-to-many systems to move thousands of partners through acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention simultaneously.
Key responsibilities:
1. Own the Long-Tail Partner Funnel: Define and track metrics like activation rate, time-to-first-deal, partner-sourced pipeline, engagement/certification rates, and retention by cohort. Identify handoff points to human-managed relationships based on tier, spend, or engagement thresholds.
2. Build Scaled, Automated Motion: Design tiered, automated programs for onboarding, certification, and ongoing engagement. Build and maintain partner segmentation models (activity level, certification status, deal registration, referral volume). Own PartnerStack as the operational backbone for enrollment, tiering, commissions, and program administration. Continuously test and iterate on program mechanics to improve conversion at each funnel stage.
3. Turn Ecosystem Data Into Growth Signal: Leverage Crossbeam account-mapping data to surface overlap signals across partners, customers, and prospects. Translate that signal into automated, partner-facing nudges and internal routing.
4. Fuel the Motion With Content: Partner with Partner Marketing to develop enablement material, product updates, and co-marketing assets. Distribute content at scale across the partner base.
Minimum qualifications: Background in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or PLG customer marketing (not traditional channel/partnerships). Fluent in funnel math—activation, conversion, retention, cohort churn. Experience with PartnerStack and Crossbeam or comparable tools. Track record of designing and scaling programs against thousands of accounts or users.
