Salary: USD 190,000 - 240,000 / annual
Parafin is a Series C fintech company on a mission to help small businesses access financial tools through the platforms they already use. We partner with companies like DoorDash, Amazon, Worldpay, and Mindbody to embed capital, spend management, and savings solutions directly into their platforms.
As a Partner Engineer, Implementations, you'll be the technical backbone of our post-sales function, serving as the primary technical contact for our most strategic partners. You'll own the full lifecycle of partner integrations—from initial technical onboarding through launch, scaling, and ongoing optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scale technical onboarding by building internal and partner-facing tools that reduce integration time and complexity.
- Drive implementation of new product launches, coordinating between partners and internal teams from planning through go-live.
- Act as the central point of contact for debugging critical technical issues, coordinating resolutions across teams.
- Document integration processes and knowledge transfer materials to support scaling.
- Capture partner feedback and integration learnings to influence product roadmap and API improvements.
- Build tooling and automation to scale repeatable integration patterns.
- Collaborate with Product and Platform teams to evolve partner-facing assets like demo apps, starter kits, and tutorials.
- Maintain technical documentation standards and serve as the owner of public-facing documentation.
You'll need 3+ years in client-facing technical roles (post-sales engineering, technical partner support, customer success engineering, or technical GTM). Strong engineering fundamentals are essential—fluency in at least 2 programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.), with comfort navigating codebases in React, Scala, and Python. You should be proficient with REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data pipelines, and embeddable UI components.
Excellent communication skills are critical; you'll explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll need strong problem-solving abilities, intuition for balancing standard vs. custom solutions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Fintech experience and SQL proficiency are preferred. Above all, you should have a genuine passion for helping small businesses succeed and a relentless commitment to partner experience.
