Onebrief builds collaboration and AI-powered workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. As a Partner Engagement Manager, you will serve as the customer's trusted technical partner and subject-matter expert, maintaining power-user-level fluency in the platform. You will act as the primary line of communication between the customer and Onebrief, translating product updates into practical impact for specific workflows. You bridge the technical gap between engineering and the customer, explaining product behavior in actionable terms. Key responsibilities include: - Clearly communicate user needs to the product team while maintaining high product proficiency and excitement about improvements - Understand and leverage company resources to meet customer goals - Lead or support exercises and identify gaps between existing workflows and effective platform usage - Drive adoption through hands-on configuration, user coaching, and workflow optimization - Respond to incidents by coordinating between the customer and product engineering teams - Align team efforts to deliver excellent customer experience while coordinating with peer Partner Engagement Managers - Enable expansion and upsell opportunities to allies and partners Onebrief is a $2B+ company founded in 2019, backed by General Catalyst, Battery Ventures, Insight Partners, Sapphire Ventures, and Human Capital. The team includes builders from military, operational, and technology backgrounds distributed globally, with some working remotely and others embedded in operational environments. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience leading operational planning within a military context, preferably at multi-star headquarters - Exposure to large staff planning through Professional Military Education or service experience - Familiarity with major military planning exercises and protocols for software deployment on classified networks - Proven ability to expand business presence within a customer location with emphasis on software/technology solutions - Experience in customer support (face-to-face and remote) and incident response coordination - Strong technical skills to master the application, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with customers - Ability to navigate large government organizations and solve bureaucratic challenges - Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to access DOD facilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Technical aptitude and ability to become a power user; comfort discussing engineering with customers - Strong interpersonal skills, rapport-building, perspective alignment, and clear communication - Deep commitment to the mission - Proactive, adaptable approach with comfort working autonomously or cross-functionally in fast-paced settings - Clear, concise, candid communication for strategic assessment and recommendations
