OpenAI's GTM Partnerships team is building a best-in-class partner ecosystem in Korea. As Partner Director, you will operationalize, activate, and manage strategic partner relationships across the full lifecycle—from partner selection and assessment through contract signature, onboarding, enablement, joint solution development, and commercial activation. You will be the primary point of contact between OpenAI and partners' delivery, technical, and sales organizations, ensuring partnerships deliver measurable results. Reporting to the APAC Partnerships Lead in Singapore, you will be based in Seoul with a hybrid work model (3 days in-office per week). Key responsibilities include: - Owning day-to-day relationships with all signed and prospect partners in Korea - Accelerating partner-sourced and partner-influenced sales opportunities with higher win rates - Driving multi-workstream onboarding (sales training, technical enablement, security, provisioning, support) - Ensuring partner readiness to deploy and resell OpenAI solutions through shared project plans, milestone tracking, and QBRs - Orchestrating co-developed solutions by defining use cases, creating demo assets, and localizing technical documentation - Monitoring partner performance, flagging risks early, and driving remediation or acceleration plans - Coordinating across OpenAI teams (Sales, Solution Engineering, Enablement, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing) - Establishing operational rhythms including roadmap briefings, asset distribution, and enablement refreshes - Ensuring compliance with partnership agreements on commercial terms, personnel commitments, and reporting Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in alliances, partner success, or enterprise software/systems integration sales; deep experience in partner onboarding and activation (ideally with hyperscale cloud, enterprise SaaS, consulting firms, or regional systems integrators); strong program management skills across multiple workstreams; familiarity with the Korean enterprise ecosystem; experience in early-stage, high-growth environments; and native-level Korean fluency with professional English proficiency.
