Salary: USD 130,000 - 140,000 / annual

Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings. As a Partner Account Manager, you will be instrumental in Human Interest's Partnership Program, a key growth initiative. Your primary responsibility is to engage, build, and develop the company's key accounts and growth opportunities. You'll work to accelerate partner relationships to help Human Interest reach more small and medium businesses across the United States.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space
- Create and build strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities
- Proactively identify and resolve emerging issues by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing to innovate and execute unique initiatives to promote partner sales, such as educational events, email campaigns, and webinars
- Work with partners to establish business goals and performance metrics (e.g., sales pipeline depth and revenue generation) to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities
This role requires someone who is proactive, creative, and can exercise discretion and judgment to create solutions independently. You'll be in the field 3 days per week, building relationships and driving partnership growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space (including territory sales and business development)
- Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment
- Highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder who can operate independently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Resilient; able to bounce back from setbacks quickly and find creative solutions
- Solutions-oriented with willingness to manage and solve operational partnership issues
- Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills; people trust you and sense your advocacy
- Tech-savvy with familiarity using Salesforce to manage sales cycles (preferred)
- Growth mindset; ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable
- Coachable; able to absorb information, training, and guidance and successfully implement it
- Ability to travel and be in the field 3 days per week
