Salary: USD 155,000 - 185,000 / annual

This senior individual contributor role owns order-to-cash operations end-to-end as the business scales rapidly across multiple revenue channels. You will manage the complete order lifecycle: booking in Salesforce, plan setup in Metronome (metering and billing), invoicing through Rillet (ERP), and handling amendments, true-ups, and renewals. You'll also build out cloud marketplace operations across AWS, GCP, and Azure with private offers, usage reporting, and reconciliation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own self-serve billing operations: usage metering, plan changes, dunning, credits, rebills, and refunds
- Ensure billing and usage completeness at month-end close with full reconciliation between Metronome and Rillet before revenue recognition
- Partner with Deal Strategy and Product on pricing evolution, bringing billing perspective into deal-structure decisions early
- Set the automation roadmap: instrument the order path, quantify manual touchpoints, and decide what gets automated versus designed away
- Treat billing errors as defects and fix root causes systematically
- Ship automations directly or partner with GTM Systems and Enterprise Engineering
- Build controls, approvals, segregation of duties, and reconciliations that scale through systems rather than headcount
- Own three key metrics: touchless order rate, signature-to-provisioned cycle time, and billing accuracy
You'll work closely with Deal Strategy and Operations, GTM Systems, Finance and Accounting, and Enterprise Engineering to align on a shared order-to-cash roadmap. The role emphasizes building systems and automation to enable order volume to grow by an order of magnitude without proportional ops headcount growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years in order management, order-to-cash, billing operations, or revenue operations at a B2B SaaS company, including experience building the function at early-stage or fast-scaling companies
- Hands-on fluency with modern billing and ERP stacks (Salesforce, Metronome, Rillet, or comparable systems)
- Real experience with usage-based pricing models including metered consumption, commits, drawdowns, overages, and true-ups
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 and month-end close processes
- Cloud marketplace experience (AWS, GCP, Azure private offers) or proven ability to get deep on new systems quickly
- Demonstrated history of automating manual processes with measurable impact
- Ability to build alignment across teams with different priorities without relying on org authority
- Comfort shipping v0 solutions early and iterating with real feedback
NICE TO HAVE:
- SQL, Python, or low-code tooling hands-on experience
- Experience building agents or LLM workflows for internal operations
- Audit prep or SOX readiness experience
