Salary: USD 155,000 - 185,000 / annual
LangChain is hiring a senior operations professional to own order-to-cash operations end-to-end as the company scales. The role encompasses booking, provisioning, invoicing, amendments, and renewals across multiple revenue channels: direct enterprise deals, self-serve usage-based billing, and cloud marketplace operations (AWS, GCP, Azure private offers).
You will work with a modern stack (Salesforce, Metronome for metering/billing, Rillet for ERP) and own the design and automation of processes across this infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the complete order-to-cash workflow: order intake from Deal Desk, Salesforce booking, plan setup in Metronome, invoicing and revenue recognition in Rillet, plus amendments and renewals
- Build and operate cloud marketplace operations, including private offer setup, usage reporting, and reconciliation across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Own self-serve billing operations: metering, plan changes, dunning, credits, rebills, and refunds
- Ensure billing and usage completeness at month-end close with full reconciliation between Metronome and Rillet before revenue recognition
- Partner with Deal Strategy and Product on pricing evolution, bringing billing perspective into deal-structure decisions early
- Set the automation roadmap: instrument the order path, quantify manual touchpoints, and decide what to automate, redesign, or keep manual
- Treat billing errors as defects and fix root causes systematically
- Ship automations directly when fastest; partner with GTM Systems and Enterprise Engineering for core system work
- Establish controls, approvals, segregation of duties, and reconciliations that scale through systems rather than headcount
- Own three key metrics: touchless order rate, signature-to-provisioned cycle time, and billing accuracy
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence. You'll work closely with Deal Strategy & Operations, GTM Systems, Finance & Accounting, and Enterprise Engineering to align on a shared order-to-cash roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years in order management, order-to-cash, billing operations, or revenue operations at a B2B SaaS company, including experience building the function at early-stage or fast-scaling companies
- Hands-on fluency with modern billing and ERP stacks (Salesforce, Metronome, Rillet, or comparable systems)
- Real experience with usage-based pricing models, including metered consumption, commits, drawdowns, overages, and true-ups
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and month-end close processes
- Cloud marketplace experience (AWS, GCP, Azure private offers) or proven ability to get deep on new systems quickly
- Demonstrated history of automating manual processes; ability to articulate cost before/after and what was built
- Ability to build alignment across teams with different priorities and reach decisions without relying on organizational authority
- Comfort shipping v0 solutions early and iterating with real feedback
NICE TO HAVE:
- SQL, Python, or low-code tooling hands-on experience
- Experience building agents or LLM workflows for internal operations
- Audit prep or SOX readiness experience
