Atom Computing is building quantum computers using arrays of optically trapped neutral atoms. As Opto-Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of mechanical and opto-mechanical engineers responsible for the mechanical design, development, and integration of subsystems for quantum computing systems.
You will bring in-depth knowledge of ensuring performance and stability of complex mechanical and opto-mechanical systems. Your responsibilities include overseeing the design and development of precision mechanical components, managing integration workflows, and ensuring subsystems meet stringent performance requirements for quantum computing applications.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work with a world-class team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals advancing the state-of-the-art in quantum computing. You will be responsible for team development, technical direction, and delivery of critical mechanical and opto-mechanical subsystems that are core to the company's quantum computing platform.
