Enveritas is a sustainability verification company building solutions for smallholder coffee and cacao farmers. We develop rigorous, scalable, and transparent verification methods that work in underserved regions, enabling companies to meet their sustainability targets by investing in areas that need it most. You will join our global team as an Operations Coordinator supporting our Asia operations, with primary focus on Indonesia—our largest and most complex program in the region. You'll also provide data quality and analytical support to other Asian origins including India, China, Laos, Papua New Guinea, and Timor-Leste as needs shift. Key responsibilities include: **Data Quality Process:** Monitor daily data quality, manage and supervise Quality Control Officers in Indonesia, review QC reports and retraining materials, follow up with Field Coordinators on rejected surveys, resolve data issues, and manage the backcheck survey process. **Survey Delivery & Field Operations:** Support survey collection delivery in Indonesia working closely with the Country Lead and field operations team; coordinate list-based verification including Key Sustainability Clusters. **Developing Tools:** Test and help design Data Quality tools and survey questionnaires for smartphones; support customization and translation review of surveys for Indonesia; collaborate with the Asia Data & Insights team to develop and improve Data Quality protocols. **Analysis & Insights:** Prepare regular analysis and statistics on data collection progress; contribute to analysis projects and stakeholder presentations using verification data; surface trends and insights to enable data-driven sourcing decisions. **Stakeholder Engagement:** Support the Country Lead in managing relationships with cooperatives, exporters, traders, farmers' organizations, NGOs, and research institutes; prepare meeting materials and track follow-ups; communicate key findings to stakeholders in Bahasa Indonesia and English. **Training:** Support onboarding and training of Field Coordinators and enumerators; lead Data Quality training sessions; train field ops teams on new tools; adapt training materials across Asian origins and languages. **Ad Hoc Projects:** Support new initiatives with the global team and special projects as assigned. You'll have the backing of a global team with deep coffee sustainability and technology expertise, work in a fun and open environment, gain technological skills, and travel across coffee and cacao regions from Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Bali, and other Asian origins. **Requirements:** - Experience with data and working across teams - Based in Indonesia (required) - 1–2 years experience managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research with strong data quality management knowledge (highly desirable) - Bachelor's degree with excellent academic record in development studies, economics, business, statistics, plant science, forestry, or related disciplines with relevant professional experience - Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs; familiarity with quantitative data collection software/platforms; knowledge of Python or other programming languages beneficial but not required - Excellent verbal and written proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong working proficiency in English - Comfortable collaborating across time zones with a global team from diverse backgrounds - Familiarity with Asia—specifically Indonesia smallholder agriculture and rural field research (advantageous) - Exposure to contracts or vendor management (beneficial but not required) - Willingness to travel to coffee- and cacao-producing regions across Indonesia and occasionally to other origins - Clear track record of working in fast-paced, multicultural team environments - Excellent communication and analytical skills; flexible problem-solving attitude - Aptitude to understand data, derive insights, identify bad data, and suggest improvements - Quick learner and effective team player - Interest in learning about coffee, cacao, and agriculture
