As Global Operator Education Lead, you will own the design and delivery of operator training and competency standards across all markets. You are responsible for setting the global standard for how operators learn, achieve sign-off, and become ready to work independently. This role spans device and standard operating procedure (SOP) training, clinical skills including doppler, ECG, and phlebotomy, lab and echo education, clinic operator lead development, and AI integration as both a tool and educational topic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and own the global operator curriculum from onboarding through expert practice, with local adaptation only where regulation requires it
- Define the operator competency framework and assessment design, ensuring readiness is judged against observable criteria rather than time-based attendance
- Ensure every new or updated device, SOP, and workflow reaches operators before go-live with verified understanding
- Hold accuracy sign-off on all operator-facing educational assets before publication
- Line manage market educators and launch trainers, maintaining consistent standards across diverse markets
- Prepare clinic operator leads to conduct competency conversations and improvement plans in collaboration with the Global Clinician Education Lead
- Use scan quality data, audit findings, and assessment results to inform curriculum development
- Teach operators to critically evaluate AI output and build AI-supported simulation and assessment tools
You will work in a fast-paced environment where clinical decision-making depends on scan quality, and your educational leadership directly impacts patient outcomes and organizational scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered healthcare professional with current registration and 5+ years post-registration experience in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting
- 3+ years designing and delivering clinical or technical education end-to-end, including ownership of curriculum, competency framework, and outcome data
- 3+ years building competency-based assessment where readiness is judged against criteria rather than attendance records
- 3+ years leading or coaching clinical educators or trainers while maintaining consistent standards across multiple sites
- 3+ years building training for devices, procedures, or technical skills where technique directly affects output quality
- 3+ years using outcome data to improve a program; at least 1 year using AI tools in your own work with a considered perspective on where human review is required
- Working style: warm, direct, and curious; ability to build trust across cultures, surface problems early, and maintain high standards while staying connected to frontline staff
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in health technology, digital health, or medical device environments with rapid product iteration
- Experience building education across multiple countries or scaling training models into new markets
- Instructor status in relevant clinical skills (basic life support, phlebotomy, ultrasound)
- Familiarity with learning management systems and modern authoring tools including simulation
