The Operations Support Specialist will be a key member of the operations team, providing essential support to internal teams and customers. Primary responsibilities include processing healthcare applications, responding to member requests, maintaining clerical data and account records, and promoting application completion through customer follow-up. The role requires responding to member eligibility questions, verifying enrollment statuses, and ensuring accuracy and compliance of enrollment processes for both on-exchange applications and direct-to-carrier submissions. General administrative support will also be provided as needed.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, hardworking, and an excellent communicator who can work independently and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They must be patient, cooperative, and flexible in serving both clients and teammates. A bachelor's degree is required, along with 1+ years of professional work experience and willingness to obtain health insurance licensure. Prior health insurance enrollment experience is valued but not required. The candidate must be able to learn complex computer systems quickly.
This is a hybrid role based in downtown Indianapolis, requiring in-office presence four days per week with work-from-home flexibility on Fridays.
