Salary: USD 50,000 - 65,000 / annual
Veo is a leading shared micromobility provider operating in over 60 cities across North America, offering bikes, scooters, and accessible vehicles. As the first profitable micromobility company in North America, Veo designs and manufactures its own vehicles, hardware, and software in-house while operating local markets directly.
The Operations Manager will lead daily warehouse and field operations for Veo's dockless micromobility program in Cedar Rapids. This is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in physical tasks including moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining equipment. The successful candidate will oversee a local team, set and manage daily routes for hourly associates, and ensure efficient fleet deployment and repositioning.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing warehouse and field operations; performing physical tasks as needed; setting and managing daily routes for team members; identifying operational gaps and developing solutions; driving timely submission of fleet health data and maintenance requests; recruiting and training local staff; ensuring compliance with city agreements and company procedures; and managing inventory and parts ordering.
Success is measured by ability to drive daily ridership, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is self-directed, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has a track record of execution and ownership.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 1-2 years managing operations in fleet, warehousing, distribution, or delivery; ability to lift 60 lbs routinely; ownership mindset with bias for action; strong prioritization and communication skills; willingness to work varied days and shifts; quantitative decision-making ability; and passion for sustainable transportation.
Compensation includes base salary $50,000–$58,000, quarterly performance bonus with unlimited upside potential, stock options, unlimited PTO, competitive benefits (medical, dental, vision, short-term disability), and 401(k) with company match.
