Revolut is a fintech super app serving 80+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company is rapidly expanding and seeks an Operations Manager to lead operations in Romania.
In this role, you will act as a key stakeholder for Revolut in Romania, responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and driving operational excellence. You will build and optimize scalable processes to support the company's hyper-growth trajectory in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing first-line-of-defence functions, including governance, regulatory interactions, and business-as-usual operations
- Providing oversight and accountability for outsourced functions
- Executing scaled operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Payments, Finance, Compliance, Marketing) across global offices
- Monitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and resolutions, liaising with service owners to ensure proper controls
- Identifying and project-managing key product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities
- Searching for new features to enhance customer experience
- Managing critical vendor relationships and building performance tracking systems
You will use insight to solve challenges, oversee regional expansion, and identify ways to deliver better outcomes for customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
- 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in banking/financial services or management consulting in Romania
- Fluency in English and Romanian
- Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
- Solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end-to-end
- Ability to break complex problems into smaller, achievable tasks
- Natural curiosity and willingness to make an impact
