Salary: GBP 48,000 - 52,000 / annual
Pax8 is a technology marketplace connecting vendors, managed service providers, and small-to-medium-sized businesses through AI-powered insights and cloud solutions. As Operations Manager based in Bristol, you will drive operational excellence and strategic initiatives across regional teams in a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Create and enhance operational processes that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Identify challenges, simplify complexity, and implement improvements with measurable results. Develop robust knowledge-sharing and documentation practices supporting consistency.
Strategic Initiatives: Coordinate and drive high-impact business initiatives from planning through execution. Partner across the organisation to manage timelines, priorities, risks, and deliverables. Utilise project management frameworks and best practices to ensure maximum value delivery.
Stakeholder Partnerships: Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to keep priorities aligned across teams and functions. Facilitate communication, transparency, and accountability throughout project lifecycles. Proactively identify roadblocks and help teams navigate challenges.
Data-Driven Insights: Support business reviews through insightful reporting, operational metrics, and performance analysis. Monitor progress against strategic objectives and identify improvement opportunities. Recognise operational risks early and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning. Support capability building through training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing programmes. Encourage retrospectives and lessons learned to improve future performance.
You'll sit at the centre of business performance, helping teams work smarter, execute faster, and collaborate more effectively. Your leadership and operational expertise will directly influence regional performance, business growth, and partner experience.

The Bristol office is located at The Distillery in City Centre (5-minute walk from Temple Meads Station) with 3 floors, natural light, breakout rooms, wellness areas, games facilities, and regular social events.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success driving operational excellence in fast-paced business environments
- Proven capability leading business initiatives and coordinating cross-functional projects
- Extensive experience improving processes, workflows, and organisational effectiveness
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and collaborate at multiple levels
- Data-driven mindset with ability to turn insight into action
- Knowledge of continuous improvement approaches (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or similar)
- Outstanding communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Proactive approach, commercial awareness, and passion for making things better
- Valid right to work in United Kingdom
