Deliveroo is seeking an Operations Manager to join its Paris office on a hybrid basis. You will own market-level strategic initiatives within the French operations, directly contributing to Deliveroo's core strategy. This is a fully autonomous role requiring critical thinking and ownership of complex logistical and financial challenges.
Key responsibilities include: owning complex logistic and financial strategic initiatives while collaborating across business units; defining market-winning strategies at a hyper-local level to optimize network efficiency, balance cost priorities with growth and service level delivery, and create models to industrialize monitoring; and improving customer and rider propositions through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
You will work at the intersection of operations, analytics, and strategy, identifying growth and quality objectives, building detailed plans with strong modeling skills, and leading their execution. The role requires deep understanding of competitive dynamics, cross-functional influence, and the ability to drive both short and mid-term impact.
Required qualifications: 3-4 years in high-paced, project-based environments (tech startups, management consulting); strong quantitative and qualitative analytics skills (Excel modeling, database analysis, Google Suite/Microsoft Office mastery); SQL knowledge is a plus; proven track record autonomously structuring and executing complex projects; excellent prioritization and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives; fluent in both English and French with demonstrated ability to present to senior audiences and influence decision-making; strong stakeholder management skills in collaborative environments.
