As Operations Associate, you will be instrumental in onboarding new team members and enhancing existing processes to help achieve collective goals. This role sits within the Encord Operations Team and offers a unique opportunity to influence the People Operations function at a fast-growing global company while helping build outstanding employee experiences. Key responsibilities include: - Oversee day-to-day office operations in the UK office, including scheduling, office management, and office supplies procurement to ensure a well-functioning and efficient workplace - Support the onboarding process, ensuring new team members are set up on all systems and processes are operational for success - Organise and manage company events and socials, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly and events promote team cohesion and morale - Contribute to key HR initiatives and special projects as they arise, providing comprehensive operational assistance across the broader team The ideal candidate is highly organised with the ability to manage multiple work priorities while delivering operations solutions at a high-growth pace. You should be able to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams and problem-solve with innovative solutions. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven background in leading and executing core, day-to-day office operations - Demonstrated track record of designing and establishing baseline systems (including onboarding procedures, relationships with new vendors, and handling compliance items) from the ground up to support rapid organizational scale - Strong ability to oversee multiple operational initiatives concurrently, such as office moves, corporate gatherings, or event logistics, with exceptional attention to detail and clear, effective communication - Comfort with core operational systems (e.g., ticketing software, HRIS, or CRM platforms) and hands-on experience streamlining routine processes through automation (preferred but not required)
