Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development and deployment of cutting-edge autonomous airpower systems. You will serve as a critical interface between Anduril and government customers, providing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirements Based Testing artifacts for advanced mission autonomy systems.
In this role, you will develop systems engineering artifacts based on stakeholder needs, working closely with internal programs, mission software engineering, product engineering, and business development teams. Your work will often become contractual deliverables, requiring demonstration at stakeholder meetings and events. You will participate in developing Anduril's Digital and Systems Engineering Strategy and Implementation, and build deep understanding of Anduril's platforms, autonomy, simulation, and perception products through creation and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts.
Required qualifications include a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or similar engineering field, with 2+ years of systems engineering experience across the lifecycle. You must have understanding of interoperability and integration challenges in defense systems, command & control use cases, and experience with requirements analysis and system design in government contexts. Proficiency with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, and model-based systems engineering artifacts (operational viewpoints, system viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, parametric diagrams) is essential. Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software (Rhapsody, SparxEA) and digital engineering workflows with integrated modeling environments (e.g., Teamwork Cloud) is required. You must possess outstanding communication skills and currently hold an active U.S. Secret security clearance, with eligibility to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
Preferred qualifications include experience with UCI standard implementation, HMI software architecture, automation in Cameo or Python for systems engineering use cases, and INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification.
