Salary: USD 50,000 - 90,000 / annual
Locus Robotics builds AI-powered autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that optimize supply chain and warehouse operations at global scale. As an Onsite Support Engineer, Robotics, you will be stationed at a customer location in Las Vegas, NV, serving as the primary technical owner and operational liaison for a deployed robotic fleet.
You will combine hands-on technical troubleshooting, operational problem-solving, and customer relationship management to ensure peak performance. Your responsibilities include proactively monitoring system health, robot activity, and task execution to maximize uptime and stability. You will perform onsite robot troubleshooting and repairs, conduct testing and validation to support product development, and compile operational data (throughput, UPH, lines per hour, utilization) to generate actionable insights.
You will optimize workflows to meet throughput targets and KPIs, act as a liaison between customer operations and internal Locus teams, and help develop standard operating procedures and best practices for future deployments. This is a customer-facing technical role that requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
The role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, at the customer location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, robotics, automation, or technical customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including picking workflows, labor management, and productivity metrics
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware or software systems, or strong technical aptitude with ability to learn quickly
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate insights into operational improvements
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, particularly in early-stage product deployments
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Willingness to work onsite daily at customer locations and adapt to operational schedules as needed
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs
- Must frequently bend, stoop, lift, walk, and reach as part of job requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
