GovDash is an AI-powered platform helping businesses win and deliver government contracts. The company provides a secure, workflow-driven system for the full contracting lifecycle—from opportunity discovery and capture through proposal execution, award, and post-award operations. In 2025 alone, GovDash customers won over $5B in government contracts.
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will own the critical first phase of the customer relationship, transforming newly signed customers into productive teams running real pursuits within weeks. You will partner with account executives to launch accounts, train teams on the workflows they actually use, and drive early adoption that ensures GovDash becomes embedded in their operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Become a product expert across the entire GovDash platform, understanding how it supports capture, proposal development, and contract management workflows.
- Conduct discovery sessions with new accounts to understand their current pursuit processes, volumes, capture and proposal workflows, team roles and handoffs, existing tools, and success metrics.
- Run training sessions during the first 30 days to ensure customer success and conversion.
- Assist with technical implementation: integration setup, data and platform configuration, pipeline migration, content and documentation uploads, and full migration efforts to consolidate their tooling.
- Facilitate multiple customer sessions per day via Microsoft Teams to train teams, help them run workflows live, support migration efforts, and answer questions.
- Hand off converted accounts to Account Management with documented workflows, stakeholder maps, and open items.
- Share onboarding feedback with product and engineering teams, focusing on first-run experience and implementation friction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
You thrive in ambiguity, work autonomously, have exceptional organizational skills, and communicate complex concepts clearly. You are adept at context switching, running multiple pilots simultaneously, and ruthless prioritization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of proposal development or capture experience
- Experience running software product demos
- Experience training others on capture and proposal workflows
- Understanding of government contracting, AI landscape, and the problems GovDash solves for customers
- Ability to operate with high horsepower, manage frequent context switching, run multiple pilots, and prioritize ruthlessly
NICE TO HAVE:
- Prior startup experience
- Exposure to technical domains like AI or SaaS
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or enhance workflows
