Nory is a Series B-funded restaurant management platform that combines real-time data with AI predictive analytics to help operators control margins, reduce waste, and improve profitability. The company was founded by Conor, who previously scaled Mad Egg in Ireland, and is now expanding from Europe into the US market with backing from Kinnevik and Accel.
As Onboarding Manager, you will own the complete onboarding experience for Nory's SMB restaurant customers in the US. Reporting to the Founding Onboarding Manager, you'll manage the full customer journey from post-sale handover through go-live and transition to the Customer Success team. Your core responsibilities include running a high volume of parallel onboardings, ensuring fast time-to-value, driving adoption by understanding customer goals and educating on best practices, and maintaining quality throughout the process.
You'll work within established SMB onboarding playbooks and standard operating procedures, providing real-world feedback to help refine and scale these processes as the team grows. Cross-functional coordination is essential—you'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure smooth handovers and remove customer blockers. You'll also serve as a voice for the customer, surfacing SMB insights and pain points to inform product and process improvements.
A key aspect of the role is experimenting with AI tools to streamline onboarding tasks, reduce manual work, and accelerate time to value, then sharing successful approaches across the wider onboarding function.
The role is based in New York and requires 2–3 days per week either in the office or onsite with customers in the New York area.
You bring 2–4 years of SaaS onboarding, implementation, or customer success experience, ideally with SMB customers. Hospitality or restaurant industry background is a strong plus. You thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments, move quickly to resolve issues, and remain calm under pressure. You're an excellent communicator who builds trust quickly, have strong project management skills to juggle multiple onboardings, and are coachable and process-driven. You adapt your approach to each customer's unique needs and are energized by following proven playbooks while spotting opportunities to improve them.
