Babylist is seeking an Office Manager to own day-to-day operations of its Commercial Point, Ohio Fulfillment Center. This is a build role where you will define the operating playbook from scratch—spend tracking, vendor terms, furniture-request processes—rather than execute an existing one.
You will report to the General Manager, Fulfillment Operations, and own:
**Front Desk & Guest Experience**: Be the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and scheduled guests. Maintain a clean, professional reception area.
**Supplies & Vendor Relationships**: Keep kitchen and office-supply areas fully stocked. Manage deliveries, restocks, and quality. Negotiate terms directly with suppliers end-to-end.
**Budget Ownership**: Track and report monthly on kitchen, office-supply, engagement, and furniture budgets. Stay within budget and keep spend transparent.
**Process Building**: Create spend-tracking systems, furniture-request policies, vendor-management workflows, and documentation that outlast you.
**Safety Partnership**: Support the Safety Committee on-site, reinforcing a culture of safety and compliance across the fulfillment center.
**Culture Co-Ownership**: Co-lead the "Fun Committee" with FC leadership to plan events, recognition, and wellness programming across day, night, and weekend shifts. Own internal communications for the events calendar.
This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM. Babylist is a $750M business with 10 million customers and eight consecutive years of profitability, serving millions of families across the country.
**Requirements**
- 2+ years in office administration, facilities coordination, or operations
- Proven experience owning a recurring operating budget and vendor relationships (tracking spend, negotiating with suppliers, reporting against budget)
- Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch (trackers, policies, workflows) rather than just execute existing ones
- Self-directed; you catch what the building needs before being flagged and close the loop independently
- Familiarity with warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environments
- Genuine enthusiasm for building culture and workplace engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and comfort with basic inventory/order-management tools
- Comfort using AI tools in daily work; curiosity about emerging AI capabilities
