Palantir's Offensive Security team is seeking an Offensive Security Engineer to proactively test and secure the company's products, infrastructure, and cloud environments. In this role, you will conduct penetration testing and red-team assessments against internal applications and systems, identifying vulnerabilities and chaining findings into realistic attack paths that demonstrate business impact. You will work directly with engineering teams to remediate discovered issues and ensure timely resolution.
A significant and growing focus of the team involves developing agentic offensive security tooling—LLM-driven systems that encode operator tradecraft and apply security testing continuously and at scale. You will contribute to the design and implementation of these advanced tools, proving out their effectiveness on live security assessments.
Additionally, you will coordinate third-party penetration testing engagements with specialized external security firms. This includes scoping assessments to focus on material risks, reviewing and validating third-party findings, and translating results into actionable remediation plans for internal teams.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a security professional with strong offensive skills, experience in attack methodology, and the ability to communicate security findings to engineering and leadership audiences. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI-driven security tooling and the opportunity to protect systems used by Palantir's partners in critical domains including healthcare, supply chain, and national security.
