Salary: USD 110,000 - 121,500 / annual
Pomelo Care is a virtual medical practice specializing in women's and children's health, offering care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. This role provides direct patient care and clinical oversight for pregnant people and newborns, with a focus on optimizing outcomes through evidence-based, population-based care implementation.
You will be accountable for improving clinical outcomes for empaneled patients by overseeing their medical care. Key responsibilities include attending daily clinical huddles with interdisciplinary teams (RNs, LCSW, RDs), reviewing complex patient cases and developing care plans, monitoring adverse events, conducting clinical retrospectives to identify protocol improvements, and leading the development and review of evidence-based medical protocols and algorithms related to obstetric and women's health.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm EST, with full remote work flexibility within the US. This is a 0.9 FTE position.

**Requirements:**
- Active compact RN license (must have)
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- NP or CNM credential with significant obstetric experience and some infant care experience
- Extensive obstetric experience, including treatment of high-risk patients
- Demonstrated effectiveness in optimizing evidence-based care and perinatal outcomes
- Experience using data to drive patient engagement, activation, and outcomes
- Track record of leading successful teams with outstanding collaboration and teamwork
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
- Growth mindset with ability to approach process change and ambiguous situations creatively
- Facility with multiple tech platforms and eagerness to advise on improvements
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, metric-driven environments
- Phenomenal interpersonal and communication skills
**Bonus qualifications:**
- Telehealth and/or remote monitoring experience
- Experience in outpatient or home-based management of higher-risk patients
