Arena Club is a digital marketplace for collectibles, founded by Derek Jeter and Brian Lee. The company has reinvented the hobby with digital card shows and is expanding into new categories including coins and wine, where collectors can buy, sell, grade, and showcase items in a personalized online showroom.
You will lead the launch and scaling of two new product verticals: Coins and Wine. This is a founder-track role with full P&L ownership and strategic autonomy. You will own the complete business model for each category, including revenue targets, margins, inventory strategy, and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
**P&L Ownership:** Own full economics of both categories, from gross merchandise value and margins to all underlying metrics. You will set strategy, direct spend, and make final decisions on category direction.
**Category Strategy:** Define vision and roadmap from scratch, including market positioning, assortment, pricing strategy, inventory targets, and team KPIs.
**Strategic Sourcing:** Build and scale relationships with manufacturers, authorized dealers, and secondary-market players. Personally negotiate and close deals to maintain a pipeline of high-demand inventory.
**Team Leadership:** Hire and develop teams across supply, marketing, and operations as the business scales.
**Demand Generation:** Partner with Marketing to own acquisition strategy, from new-user growth to brand presence, ensuring demand aligns with topline targets.
**Product Strategy:** Work with Product to design drops and pack experiences that engage collectors. Manage every release to deliver projected business outcomes.
**Operational Delivery:** Partner with Operations and Accounting to ensure seamless inventory flow from sourcing through authentication, vaulting, and delivery, with flawless customer experience.

- Track record of zero-to-one work: launching, building, or scaling a business, product, or function from the ground up
- Sharp negotiation skills and ability to build trust with external partners
- Bias toward action and genuine accountability for outcomes
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
