Grafana Labs is seeking an Observability Architect to serve as the primary technical point of contact and strategic partner for a portfolio of enterprise customers. This is a hands-on, high-impact role combining deep technical expertise with customer success leadership.
You will architect and guide the implementation of complex observability solutions across modern infrastructure and application environments, working with engineers, SREs, and architects to ensure Grafana's technology is deeply embedded into mission-critical systems. You'll lead technical discovery, design, onboarding, and enablement initiatives, focusing on delivering tangible business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include: designing observability maturity journeys for customers; providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance; conducting regular technical reviews and health checks; advising on best practices and strategies; collaborating on technical roadmaps; identifying optimization and expansion opportunities; developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships; driving product adoption across your customer portfolio; acting as the voice of the customer internally to shape product feedback and roadmap priorities; and delivering training, documentation, and technical guidance.
You'll work closely with Engagement Managers and Onboarding Solutions Architects to own the full customer lifecycle, from implementation through ongoing optimization. This role requires the ability to spot patterns, solve complex problems, and guide customers through their observability maturity curve with authority and clarity. You'll represent the technical voice of customers internally, working with Engineering and Product Management to influence strategic direction.
