Salary: USD 137,740 - 194,390 / annual
Divergent 3D is seeking an NX Administrator to join its PLM and NX support organization. This hands-on role supports the administration, configuration, and day-to-day operation of Siemens NX within a Teamcenter/NX Manager environment.
You will work closely with PLM administrators, engineers, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, support CAD/CAM users, and implement new capabilities across the NX environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Administer and configure Siemens NX in Teamcenter/NX Manager environments
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to CAD and CAM users
- Investigate and resolve NX performance and usability issues
- Support NX upgrades, installations, and system improvements
- Maintain and improve NX part templates and configuration
- Support Standard Parts, Materials, and Tools Libraries
- Develop and maintain Check-Mate checkers using NX Open
- Support Teamcenter Release Management and Change Management processes
- Create training materials and user documentation
- Document administrative configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting approaches
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Evaluate new NX capabilities and recommend enhancements
You'll contribute to continuous improvement of engineering systems while supporting tools used to design and manufacture advanced products for automotive OEMs and aerospace/defense customers.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years with Siemens NX or CAD administration; hands-on experience with NX installation, configuration, and upgrades; experience in both Teamcenter/NX Manager and standalone environments; proficiency with NX CAD and CAM; troubleshooting experience; familiarity with Teamcenter Release and Change Management; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred: NX Part Families, Standard Parts, Materials/Tools Libraries; technical documentation or training development; NX Open or C++/C#/Python programming; manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace experience.
