Salary: USD 122,000 - 166,000 / annual
Arista Networks is seeking a Product Operations Manager to lead the product lifecycle management of a family of networking products. This is a hands-on leadership role accountable for guiding products from program commitment through manufacturing readiness, value engineering, and portfolio management.
You will lead a cross-functional team spanning product development, manufacturing, product management, contract manufacturing partners, ODM/JDM partners, and customer support. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from development through end-of-life, ensuring alignment with manufacturability, testability, reliability, sustainability, and supportability objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule, meeting performance, cost, quality, and lead-time targets.
• Coordinate with technology and manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and early production units, including material readiness.
• Identify program risks and drive mitigation and prevention plans to keep products on track.
• Partner with NPI engineers on capacity planning and capital expenditure rollout.
• Monitor product quality metrics, production yields, and RMAs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure products meet cost objectives and drive continuous improvement through post-project assessments after each release.
• Manage portfolio rationalization, value engineering, and end-of-life processes.
• Work with engineering to define and implement product improvement initiatives.
You will interface with internal teams (product management, demand planning, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics) and external partners (technology vendors, contract manufacturers, customers). Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (required).
• 3+ years of direct engineering experience in fabrication and manufacturing of electronic products (required).
• MS/MBA and PMP certification are highly desirable.
• Combined new product introduction, operations, and program management experience is highly desirable.
• Direct experience in engineering product development, product management, and working with external partners is desirable.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences.
• Local candidates preferred.
