Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. The company recently raised $1.37B in Series D funding at a $7.87B valuation and is rapidly expanding manufacturing capabilities and scaling its Factory-as-a-Service platform.
As Senior Network Engineer, you will own the design, architecture, and reliability of network infrastructure across Hadrian's data center, campus, multi-site, and cloud environments. You'll be the technical authority on networking, setting standards and architecting connectivity from the data center fabric to the factory floor and office campus. You'll lead new site bring-ups from design through production, working closely with infrastructure, IT, security, and operations teams.
Key responsibilities include: designing and operating scalable network topologies across all layers (data center, campus, wired, wireless, WAN, cloud); architecting routing and switching with BGP for internet edge and multi-homing; building VXLAN/EVPN fabrics for segmentation and multi-tenancy; designing campus networks across offices and factory floors; implementing SD-WAN and overlay technologies; architecting highly-available connectivity with VPNs and first-hop redundancy; designing cloud networking across AWS and Azure; driving network automation with Infrastructure-as-Code; setting standards for monitoring and observability; leading root-cause analysis; managing ISP and telecom relationships; mentoring teammates; and participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
You'll need 8+ years in network engineering with senior design and architecture ownership, deep expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP at scale, and full-stack experience across data center, campus, and multi-site environments. Strong production experience with BGP and OSPF, hands-on overlay networks (VXLAN/EVPN), campus LAN and enterprise wireless design, high-availability and redundancy design, multi-site enterprise experience, SD-WAN architecture, VPN experience, cloud networking design, and Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency are required. Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE), hands-on Juniper Mist experience, BGP at scale expertise, EVPN/VXLAN fabric experience, and multi-vendor platform knowledge are strong differentiators.
