Delinea is a cloud-native Identity Security Platform that uses AI-powered intelligence to govern human and machine identities across modern enterprises. The company secures identities across cloud infrastructure, data, SaaS applications, and AI systems, offering rapid deployment and industry-leading uptime. As a Senior .NET Software Engineer on the Governance Engineering team, you will architect and deliver the back-end services powering the Delinea Platform. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll have significant influence over technical decisions and the platform's future direction. Key responsibilities include: - Architect, develop, test, and maintain high-quality .NET services (RESTful APIs and background workers) aligned with cloud and security standards - Own deployment, configuration, and operational health of services in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, including resource management, scaling, and observability - Design service architectures for systems communicating across Delinea's internal services, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability - Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams on system roadmaps, API contracts, and technical decisions - Conduct code and design reviews, reinforcing best practices in distributed systems and security - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions - Leverage AI-driven development tools to accelerate delivery - Mentor engineering peers and foster continuous improvement Required qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - 5+ years professional software engineering experience with strong .NET (C#) focus - Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and background services in production - Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and operations experience - Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native deployment models - Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Desirable experience includes AI-driven development practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana).
