You will own mobile infrastructure end-to-end for a high-traffic consumer trading product. This is a hands-on, generalist role spanning release pipelines, CI/CD, test infrastructure, stability, observability, and AI integration.
Key responsibilities:
- Own release tooling across iOS and Android: automated builds, code signing, store submission, phased rollouts, hotfix paths, and post-release health checks
- Build and maintain CI infrastructure with build-time budgets, flaky-test detection, merge gates, and device/simulator infrastructure
- Build quality tooling: regression gates, automated coverage, crash-free and ANR targets; go into app code to fix crash clusters and harden error paths
- Run observability stack and alerting to surface problems before users experience them
- Integrate AI into the mobile toolchain: create evaluation harnesses for AI-assisted features, embed AI agents into developer workflows, make AI first-class in shipping and testing
- Measure everything: set budgets, track over time, prove improvements with data
You should have broad mobile infrastructure experience at consumer scale (iOS, Android, or both), hands-on experience with release tooling (Sentry, LaunchDarkly, fastlane), practical experience applying AI to engineering workflows, and a measurement-driven approach to quality. You're comfortable owning multiple areas simultaneously on a small team and willing to dive into app code when needed. Plus experience with real-time data, live market feeds, trading products, or fintech is valued.
