First Due is seeking a Mobile Application Lead Developer to architect and develop native iOS applications for their emergency response platform serving Fire & EMS agencies. This role focuses on building mission-critical software that helps first responders operate safer and more effectively.
Key responsibilities include architecting and designing native iOS applications for First Due's emergency response platform. You'll design and implement offline-first architectures to ensure reliable application performance in low-connectivity emergency environments—a critical requirement for first responder operations. You'll establish and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines, coding standards, code review practices, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
You'll mentor developers on mobile best practices and First Due's technology stack, helping to elevate the team's capabilities. You'll drive sprint planning, technical estimations, velocity tracking, and contribute to the mobile technology roadmap. Collaboration is essential—you'll work effectively with cross-functional teams across US and India time zones.
This is a full-time remote position (US-based) offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on public safety technology. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership and mentorship responsibilities.
