6sense is seeking an ML Engineer III to join its Data Science team. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions that drive business impact and improve customer outcomes.
You will work across the full ML lifecycle—from problem formulation and experimentation through production deployment and monitoring. Key responsibilities include building and optimizing NLP and transformer-based models for classification, ranking, recommendation, and retrieval use cases. You'll contribute to generative AI and agentic AI initiatives, including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and workflow orchestration.
Specific duties include designing and deploying ML models for business and customer-facing applications; performing data exploration, feature engineering, and model evaluation; developing scalable data pipelines for training and inference; working with structured and unstructured data to generate insights; partnering with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions; monitoring production model performance and contributing to continuous improvement; and participating in design reviews and technical discussions.
Required qualifications: 4–6 years of experience building and deploying ML systems in production; strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and experimentation; hands-on experience with NLP, embeddings, transformer models, and retrieval systems; proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost); and experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Databricks). The ideal candidate is technically strong, curious, execution-focused, and eager to work on modern AI systems.
