As a Mixing Senior Engineer, you will lead the mixing process for electrode production in our mass-production environment at the Dunkirk Gigafactory. This is a hands-on technical role with significant responsibility for process optimization and operational excellence during the critical launch and ramp-up phase.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting teams during Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development and gigafactory ramp-up activities
- Collaborating with product engineering teams to optimize the mixing process for electrode design
- Improving mixing efficiency by increasing process automation to reduce capital and operating costs
- Testing and validating state-of-the-art technologies for mixing applications
- Conducting root cause investigations into mixing process defects during operations
You will bring a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with mixing processes in manufacturing environments, ideally with battery manufacturing background. Your technical foundation includes an M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline. You are proficient with statistical and data analysis tools such as Python, Matlab, and Minitab, enabling data-driven process improvements.
