Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Support Engineer for its Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Business Line. This role is critical to ensuring deployed EW systems—which provide real-time RF spectrum awareness, threat detection, and electronic mitigation at the tactical edge—remain operationally ready and continuously supported.
You will serve as the primary technical bridge between fielded systems and engineering teams, owning the operational performance of deployed EW systems across multiple theaters. Your responsibilities include investigating and resolving system anomalies end-to-end, from initial detection through root cause analysis and post-incident documentation. You'll contribute to validation and fielding of new EW software builds, including pre-deployment verification and operational acceptance testing.
Key duties involve leveraging Linux diagnostics, log analysis, and command-line tooling to drive resolution and deploy software solutions. You'll partner with engineering and product teams to enhance fleet-wide monitoring, alerting, and health telemetry for EW assets. You'll aggregate and interpret field performance data to identify failure patterns, inform preventive maintenance strategies, and guide engineering investment decisions.
You'll manage technical issues with customers, providing clear communication and follow-through from identification to closure. You'll translate operational feedback and mission requirements into actionable input for product development, advocating for capability improvements grounded in real-world employment. You'll develop deep technical fluency across the EW product portfolio and orchestrate cross-functional responses to complex sustainment challenges.
Required: 3+ years' defense industry, USG, or DoD/DoW experience in technical operations; experience with complex software solutions, distributed communication networks, and system-of-systems architectures; ability to quickly understand disaggregated networking systems; incident-driven workflow support; excellent communication skills; ability to work non-standard hours and weekends; ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance.
Preferred: BS in STEM (computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, IT); industry networking certifications (CompTIA Sec+/Net+, CCNA, Linux+); experience supporting or operating EW systems, software-defined radios, or RF sensors; familiarity with RF and EW applications, power, antenna concepts, and spectrum analysis.
