Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) Vehicle Software team develops software for autonomous robotics systems including the Fury unmanned fighter jet and Barracuda family of advanced effects. You will design, build, and deploy a real-time, map-based interface for displaying and interacting with sensor data and commanding physical assets. Key responsibilities include fetching and managing large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering in a low-friction user experience, building immersive image-viewing experiences in a web-based platform, and taking ownership of well-scoped projects with clear objectives. You'll partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. The role involves collaboration with other engineering disciplines on vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry. Travel up to 15% of the time is required to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments. Required qualifications include eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, a degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience), and experience working on frontend applications, preferably data-intensive or map-based systems. Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and hands-on experience with React are essential. You should demonstrate broad experience delivering functional outcomes and a mindset toward innovative problem-solving.
