Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and computer vision. The Air Dominance & Strike team develops aerial and multi-domain robotic systems, including Fury (unmanned fighter jet) and Barracuda (air-breathing cruise missile), powered by Lattice OS—an AI-powered operating system that transforms thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control.
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy a real-time, map-based interface for displaying and interacting with sensor data and commanding physical assets. You'll fetch and manage large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering in a low-friction user experience. Your work will include building immersive image-viewing experiences in a web-based platform and taking ownership of well-scoped projects with clear objectives.
You'll partner closely with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. You'll work in close coordination with specialist teams in Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to solve complex autonomy challenges. The role includes up to 30% travel to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of frontend development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React; degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; experience with data-intensive or map-based systems; and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance. You should demonstrate broad experience delivering functional outcomes and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
