The Corporate Sales team is verticalized, focusing on Fortune 1000 companies in Life Sciences, Technology, Media & Telecom, Energy & Industrials, Consulting, and Consumer Packaged Goods. This role is part of the Mid-Market segment within Corporate Sales.
As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will own a full 360-degree new business sales cycle targeting corporate intelligence departments and strategic functions (Corporate Strategy, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, Investor Relations, research). Responsibilities include:
• Cold calling, prospecting, and initiating discussions with target accounts in assigned vertical markets
• Conducting technical product demonstrations and managing product trials
• Building relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, from analysts to C-suite executives
• Forecasting accurately and developing pipeline to meet/exceed quota
• Closing deals end-to-end with no task too small or large
• Collaborating with Product Specialists during trials to ensure engagement and conversion
• Gathering and distributing client/prospect feedback to sales and product teams

REQUIREMENTS:
• Accomplished sales professional with proven experience selling into corporate vertical markets (TMT, CPG, Life Sciences, Professional Services, Energy & Industrials)
• SaaS sales background, preferably with financial information and/or research solutions
• Demonstrated ability to articulate the "science of sales"—understanding what activities drive success and how to consistently hit targets (pipeline building, product trial management, complex negotiations)
• Natural tenacity, "never give up" attitude, and strong work ethic
• Intellectually curious with ability to ask the right questions and uncover business challenges at all organizational levels
• Coachable with openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement
• Strong communicator capable of explaining complex financial data and concepts to non-financial audiences via video, phone, and written channels
• Knowledge of personas and functions that purchase market intelligence solutions
