Ledgy is building a modern, tech-driven equity management and financial reporting platform for private and public companies across Europe. Founded in 2017 in Switzerland, the company has raised $22M in Series B funding led by New Enterprise Associates and Sequoia, and operates from offices in Zurich and London with a team of 26+ nationalities.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design and build elegant, scalable systems powering how companies manage equity. You'll collaborate with engineers (primarily in Zurich and London), product managers, and designers to develop industry-leading automation and experiences that replace manual processes.
In your first 30 days, you'll be paired with an onboarding buddy to learn equity management fundamentals, meet the engineering team, understand how your team connects to the broader platform, and start contributing to the codebase with guidance from experienced engineers.
Within 3 months, you'll ship independently on impactful product features, participate in architecture discussions around scaling workflows and data models, implement robust data flows, and develop deep understanding of equity automation.
Within 6-12 months, you'll take ownership of key features within your team's domain, help shape technical direction and architecture, collaborate with Product and Design on user-centric experiences, and mentor other engineers.
Ledgy is hiring for three core teams: Core Equity (foundational logic and transaction systems), Workflows & Automation (complex equity workflows and third-party integrations), and Reporting (financial and compliance reporting at scale).
You should have 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript skills (backend and frontend), experience with React, Node.js, and MongoDB, and a passion for solving complex financial data problems. The role offers flexible working hours, 25 days vacation, up to 40 days remote work from outside your home country, generous learning & development budget, competitive salary, benefits, and equity.
